Cubic Boron Nitride - Grits - Coatings
To get superior performance of CBN tools, the coatings are widely applied to CBN products. There are two kinds of coatings available for our CcBN products, i.e. nickel and titanium.

The former could improve heat dissipation and improve bond retention. It is usually used for resin bond system. And the latter could protect CBN particles during sintering process and is used in metal and vitrified bond system. |
